"He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord." -Acts 11:24
A life of purpose ...
That Scripture has become my life verse. It refers to a first century Christian hero named Barnabas. That's the name his peers gave him and it translates, "Son of Encouragement."
Just as for Barnabas, God-honoring, fruitful lives begin with the cultivation of character. It's my dream and mission to help others become people of goodness, Spirit-sensitivity, and faith.
I sincerely pray that my life and ministry, like his, will be an encouragement to you.
There are four areas in which I seek God today to be a son of encouragement and they are my ministries as a father, husband, pastor, and author.
As Jesus said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Givers are the richest people.
